What are Thompson Associates Fees?
The fee for our Executive Search service is one third of the hired
candidates first year compensation plus any agreed upon expenses
and stock/equity if applicable. One third of the estimated fee is
paid in advance as a retainer. Compensation for Executive search
candidates tend to be in the $200,000 plus range.
For Senior Management search the fee structure is the same to begin
with, but can become more economical and flexible as the size and
scope of our relationship grows. Candidates hired through Senior
Management search tend to have compensation packages in the $100,000
to $200,000 range.
Engagement search is designed to provide the client with similar
attention and resources that we deliver on a retained search with
even more flexibility. It is structured to be even more flexible
and is ideal for filling multiple positions as an example; a nationwide
sales team.
How long does a search take?
Executive search and senior Management search typically take more
time per position and require more resources than engaged search.
A Senior Executive search usually take 90-120 days and engaged searches
30-45 days depending on the resources and the client availability
at the beginning and during the search.

the creation of a detailed search profile to the acceptance of the
position by the final candidate is done to meet this goal at each
step along the way. We do everything we can to insure that the fit
will be a good one for you and the candidate. Our promise to you
in the event that the recommended candidate is hired and chooses
to leave with in the first 30 days of employment, Thompson Associates
will conduct another search to replace the candidate Free of charge.
